Fanimo Olabode Oluranti – Finance & Strategy
Fanimo Olabode Oluranti is a finance executive and strategic management leader with 20+ years’ experience across public and private sectors in and beyond Nigeria. An alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School, he has shaped revenue-generating policy and corporate strategy, serving as Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Corporate Matters. He helped establish Lagbus Asset Management Limited, supported the Integrated Mass Transit Scheme, and advanced partnerships with Afrexim Bank, Stanbic IBTC, and TATA Africa. As a consultant to LAWMA, he restructured PSP waste management and improved compliance. He holds a BA and MSc from Middlesex University and is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Development. He founded the Nigeria Institute for Chartered Waste Managers.
Paul Wicks – Materials Science & Operations
Paul Wicks is a materials-science entrepreneur with over a decade of experience leading an R&D company. He specialises in practical, low-carbon process innovation. As co-founder and CEO of a microwave R&D company, he led the development of circular-economy solutions that reduced resource-intensive steps in industrial workflows, helping manufacturers shrink energy use and emissions. He also launched hands-on programmes in the Scottish Borders to strengthen local numeracy and laboratory skills, linking training directly to emerging green-industry needs. In 2024, Paul co-founded NANOWAVE to create plant-based, sustainable additives for food, fuel, and industrial applications—combining materials science with scalable, climate-conscious manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he worked across applied R&D in materials and antimicrobial science, bringing a lab-to-market mindset to technology translation and partnerships.
